In the 1850 "annotated" census of Hopkins Co., on the web, someone has added

that:  Sarah, wife of Jefferson BRANSON was also a daughter of William BROWN

and Mary PETTUS.  I'm not quite convinced of this.  This Sarah was born in

1819.  That would have made Mary PETTUS BROWN 45 years old at her birth - a

bit "long in the tooth" to give birth to a child in the early 1800's.  However,

it could certainly be possible.  Am not going to concern myself with this now.

Will leave that up to some of the BRANSON descendants to figure out.
