Surprise Dinner John M Laffoon was agreeably surprised Sunday by a number of friends and relatives, the occasion being his 60th birthday. At he noon hour a delicious dinner was served. In the afternoon music was rendered. Thos present were: Mr and Mrs E R Brackett, Mr and Mrd Ed Orange, Mr and Mrs J E Williams, Mr and Mrs Edward Warren, Mr and Mrs M E Newman, Mr and Mrs Edna Brackett and children, Betty and Junior, all of Morton Gap; Mr and Mrs Mangum Perkins, of Spottsville; Mr and Mrs Luther Summers and children, Paul and John Wayne; Mrs Lon Summers, Will Dsburn (sic), Jess McGary, of Madisonville; Misses Lily Vincent and Virginia Dulback and Mr and Mrs John Laffoon and son, John Hardin.
