This is some of the family of John Green and Amanda Shepherd. Jan is most lively Francis Jane Green she never married. Family Tradition has it that Amanda Shepard Green is buried here. The Stone is probably a child of Enoch Stone. I understand there is another Green Cemetery in the head of Lick Branch of Quicksand.—Yvonne Hall
