CEMETERY.Adams-Cox.Jackson Adams-Cox Cemetery, Jackson County, Kentucky This 1 acre cemetery was laid out in accordance with the will of Absalom ADAMS; a son of Feathergill ADAMS of Garrard County. The cemetery was originally in Madison County, but was included when Jackson County was formed in 1858. The cemetery is located on the top of Big Hill, at Morrill. It lies beyond the present day Morrill Cemetery and has been unkept for many years. This cemetery was inventoried by Donal West in 1977 and by Loren Adams in 1987. There were some field stones that may have been grave markers, but no marks I could find. The 5 headstones I found were home made, standing and in excellent condition.
