Minutes for 1837:

Jan - Jessey MOON moderator. No business.
Feb - John JONES moderator. No business

Mar - John JONES moderator. Levi MOORE to be sent for to
        see why he isn't attending; Austin CLAYTON & Ritchard
        RAY to see him. Rachel PASE? to attend to show cause
        why she allowed dancing at her house; Henry B BLARE
        & John B BLARE to see her.

Apr - John JONES moderator. MOORE's case continued, same
        for PASE.
 
May - Levi MOORE case continued. Sister PSE appeared &
         gave satisfaction. Dianah RAMEY (nee JONES) excluded
         for grave offense. 

Jun - Jessey MOON moderator. Levi MOORE's case taken up -
        continued again. Agreed to purchase locks for the church
        door. Table to be made for the church and a seat for the
        pulpit.

Jul - Jessey MOON moderator. MOORE to be visited again;
       J C ROWNTREE & David CUTLIP to do same.

Aug - no meeting - association time

Sep - John JONES modesrator. Levi MOORE present, refused to
        give satisfaction, excluded. Letter of dismission granted to
        Patsy G TILATHY, E MOORE.

Oct - John JONES moderator. Received Nansey RAY by experience,
        Litisha JAMES by experience; Henrretta STROWD by same,
        Sintha Ann RAY same, Asa CAPPS by same; Mirana 
        CAPPS by same; John B BLANE by same.

Nov - John JONES moderator. Recvd Wm CAPPS by experience;
        Andrew CLATON same; Jessey CAPPS same. Dec meeting
       to be at Ritchard RAY's. Feb to meet at James STROWD'S.
       March meeting at Warren MOORE's. Joseph P POLLARD
       to be given bond by Warren Moore for the work done on the
       church. Subscriptions to be raised to buy a stove for the
       church. Recvd Mariah, slave of J C ROWNTREE; Eliza M
       MOORE by experience; George Ann ROWNTREE, Jinny
       CUTLIP, Sarah Ann MOORE by same.

Dec - John JONES moderator. Recvd Aaron SHORT, Elizabeth
         SHORT, John WOOLSEY, Sarah Ann GARDNER, all by
         experience. At another meeting received: Elizabeth BLARE
         by experience. Stove subscriptions raised $39.75. Polley
        BLEDSO's behaviour to be investigated; excluded for living
        with a man contrary to the word of God and rules of the
        church. . At another meting recvd Hyram H CAMPS by
        experience and Wm CLAYTON by same. At the next
        meeting recvd: Henretta CAPPS by experience, JulyAnne
        RAGSDAL by same, Eliza Jane SMITH by same. Aron SHORT
        & wife excluded (no charge shown).
