Charge agaisnt Person CLIFFORD from several months past he considers himself no longer a member, acted improperty by showing the people he could dance. Apparently excluded after dancing in church. Richard RAY appointed to take care of the church house for the next 12 months. No minutes Feb thru Oct. Nov - Alexander REYNOLDS, moderator. On request of Brother Will, a slave formerly owned by James H COLE, letter of recommendation given him as he is now living inconvenient to the church. William WHITMAN is requested to continue to labor as pasture [sic] and that Richard RAY and David CUTLIP can notify him and request an answer by the next meeting. Dec - William WHITMAN, moderator. He agrees to continue preaching. 1828: No minutes January through March Apr - William WHITMAN, moderator. Daniel KEATH and wife Judiah received by letter from the Sinking Liberty Meeting House in Wayne Co KY. He was also recommended as a deacon in his past church and received as same here. May - no minutes Jun - William WHITMAN, moderator. Elijah JONES and Warren MOORE to represent church in the next Green River Association, John ROWNTREE to prepare the letter. Jul - Same moderator. Letter produced, church to pay 75 cents to pay for printing. Members who subscribed to give funds to the church: David CUTLIP, Richard RAY, John HERINGTON, John B BLAIR, Warren MOORE, Elijah JONES, Asle DAVIS and John ROWNTREE - all pledged 25 cents except Warren MOORE who pledged 50 cents and John ROWNTREE who pledged a $1.00.
