Church Meeting Minutes for the year 1828:

Jan - Polley JONES had asked for letter of dismission but a pending
        charge so held letter until next meeting.
Feb - Charge cleared, letter granted. Lewis WRIGHT recvd by experience
Mar - No business
Apr - Letter received by the United Baptist Church of Christ at Clear 
        Spring Meeting House in Montgomery Co IL re desire of Anna B
        DENHAM (former member at Clear Fork); she repentant
        of grief that caused her exclusion, restored and letter granted.
        Joe ELLIOTT's slave drank too much, suspended.
May - Slave above admonished, he restored. Letter of dismission
        applied for by Samuel HOPKINS Jr - laid over due to possible
        difficulty between he and another member.
Jun - Samuel HOPKINS excluded for using unbecoming language 
        about Susannah WOOD.
Jul - Wm WOOD, Wm CROSS, Thomas WOOD & Zephaniah WOOD
       appt associate delegates. Elley BRANHAM recvd by experience.
Aug - no minutes
Sep - Difficulty between Patsey DENTON & Sally MYERS - Jesse
        SMITH, Wm CROSS & Wm WOOD appt to talk to them.
        Letter of dismission granted Samuel HOPKINS, his wife and
        daughter Polly.
Oct - Difficulty between Polly Denton and Sally Myers settled. 
         Letter of dismission granted Elizabeth WOOLSEY, Matilda
         SMITH and Polly CAPSHAW. Nancy DAVIDSON restored by
         recantation.
Nov - few members only met.
Dec - Charge against Charles, a man of Colour who ran away from
         his master, excluded. Edward BRISTOW & wife applied for
         letters of dismission - granted.
