Feb - E A & Nancy BUTLER and Rebecca BARMATT?
         dismissed by letter. 
Mar-Apr - bad weather, no services. Elizabeth COLE and a 
        member with last name of CRAIG died.
May - Rice SPECK had bad conduct, not attending and drinking
         to excess - excluded. Barbary GUY granted letter of
         dismission. ambros MARCOMB not complying with an
         ordinance of the church & Committee to see him. Louwesa
         HUDDLESTON has not been baptised; found out she had
         been baptised by another type of church.
Jul - Ambrose MARCOMB excluded. Isaac LEE apologized for
        drinking too much. George POLSTON charged with bad
        talk against another member; Jesse EWING & James COLE
        to talk to him and report.
Sep - J A WILLSON named clerk for the day. Charge against
        Frank PIERCE for drinking too much and fighiting. Malison
        CRAIG acknowledged he had been drinking too much. 
Oct - POLSTON's case brought up and continued for a longer
        time to find out why his wife had left him.
Dec - C P GRAY clerk for the day, Wm a COOPER moderator.
        POLSTON's case continued. Charge agaisnt James CRAIG
        and Wm CARTER for dancing - they admitted and repented.

1877:
Jan - J M BRISTOW clerk. Charlotta POLSTON charged with a
        grievious sin - committee to see her. Taylor LESLIE and
        Perry POLSTON charged with dancing. Bro POLSTON
        found to be in a low state of health and not expected to
        survive.
Feb - Brooks OWEN clerk. Conduct noted of Mima COLE and
         Charlotta POLSTON - excluded. George POLSTON has
         died.
 Mar - Parry POLSTON charged with treating the church with
          contempt, excluded. Taylor LESLIE's case continued. Apr - John WILLSON admitted over drinking, forgiven. J W
         SALLOMON granted letter of dismission. 
May - Taylor LESLIE made acknowledgement, forgiven.
Jun - Recvd by experience: Spencer DABNEY, Pemberton

        acting badly by taking another woman's husband, excluded. Nov - received R A WOODSON by letter.
