[note: this was normally song leading, Scripture reading, etc.] NOTE: This name Tomes is written clearly but am wondering if it is James ... very unusual first name. Feb: Bro RHEA moderator. Cloe CAMPBELL case - waiting. Geo WOOD admitted he drank too much, repented, restored. Stephen ROBERTS & wife applied for a letter of dismission, granted. Bro SCOTT & Tome BROCK to assist Bro HARRIS. Received Margaret SMITH Sr by experience and Tomes SMITH by same and Joseph CRAWFORD by same. Obed GARDNER under watch care but not allowed to take Communion. Mar: Cloe CAMPBELL excluded for "raising a certain matter of unhappyness which was once settled between her and bro Isaac Denton." James ROBERSON told the church that Moses ROBINSON had drank too much "spiritous liquer" and told an untruth about it. James WOOD & James BROCK to visit him. Charge agaisnt Wm MILLER for communing with the Methodists. James BROCK applies for liberty to commune with other Societies - church majority says no. Apr: Met at ROBERSON'S Meeting house. Received by letter Patsey HUDLESTON and Sister Cate. Broke fellowship with Wm MILLER. Elizabeth MILLER excluded for contempt in her saying she would "destroy a letter if the church gave it to her and moving away without it." Joseph PATTON told the church that he has published a matter of distress against Bro Isaac DENTON and says he is sorry for it, accepted. Received Martha DENTON by letter. Isaac DENTON, WM GOODSON & Wm WOOD to go to association. Moses ROBERTSON cited to attend this meeting, but didn't, said he was "failing". May: Moses ROBERSON came forward and apologized. Hugh CAMPBELL and wife granted letter of dismission, same to Isaac Wayn SCOTT and wife. Nov 1805: Moses ROBERSON excluded. Michael SPECK to talk to Wm BUNCH to come to next meeting. Wm BROWN joined by exp. Dec: Michael SPECK said that he cited Wm BUNCH to appear but he refused to do so. SPECK, James WOOD & Wm WOOD to go see him again.
