Bro WOOD and Jessie SMITH to see Robert CROSS about his non-attendance. James CROUCH, John WOOD and Wm GOODSON to help the Sulphur Church re a problem there. May - The LEE's not there yet, Bro DALTON to tell them to attend next meeting and tell them what their intentions are. Anna HUDDLESTON suspended until checking is done if she joined another society (church of a different denomination normally). Samuel COLE to see her. Robert CROSS case laid over. Jun - Wm GOODSON Jr to write a letter to the church where the LEE's joined and inform them of the situation that they have never returned their letter (or calledfor it).Anna HUDDLESTON excluded for joining another society. Jessie SMITH and Harden WILLIAMS to visit Nancy CROSS about her current standing. Wm GRIMSLEY, Wm WOOD, Philip SMITH, Isaac DENTON and Wm GOODSON Sr to help Big Sinking Creek church in a difficulty. Jul - Nancy CROSS exluded for refusing to obey the church & coming before them. Association delegates appt: Isaac DENTON, Wm GRIMSLEY, Wm WOOD & Wm GOODSON Sr Aug - Polly OWENS granted letter of dismission. Sep - Recvd by exp Sally RENEAU; dismissed by letter Polly HARLEY and Wm TOMPKINS. Oct - Robert CROSS excluded. Harden WILLIAMS and wife granted letter of dismission. It appears that they brought a letter with them from another church "of like faith" but had not yet joined the church there which they should have done) Nov - Isaac CROUCH allowed to exercise his gifts (singing, reading of Scriptures - not an ordained position).
