Garfield Baptist Church did not meet at the regular meting in Dec 1903 on 
acount of the bad wether brother Everet English preached the following Sunday 
at 11 and at night he has accepted the call and comenced the work on acount of 
the very bad wether the congregations were small at both services

Jan the 16 – 1904  Garfield Baptist Church met at 2 o c and after devotional 
exercise by Brother English the meting was called to order by the moderater 
brother M P Compton ther being no minut to read the peice and fellowship of the 
church was called for all present at peice the comity to secure cole for the 
church reported work done and were discharged the comitty apointed to make 
money for the church asked for further time to report the comitty to wate on 
brother English mad there report and were discharged business of a general 
character under this hed a comitty was apointed to formulate a financial 
sectern for the church whoes business it shal bee to see after the finance of 
the church and report monthly to the church this comitty on Board will meet in 
this church Saterdy 23 day of Jan 1904 at 2 oc P M. John Monedock, Mat Payne, 
Gorge Smith  Jellie Macy and M P Compton; Compose the board the does of the 
church were opened to receive members none came forward on motion church 
adjorned to meet at the regular meeting in Feb 1904
