	Garfield Baptist Church met in regular session June 17, 1905 after the devotional 
exercise by the pastor Rev. English  The business session of the church was called to 
order by the Mod M. P. Compton under the order of req the idea of putting in a memorial 
window as a memento of the Cates and beloved Bro D R M Smith it was deferred until the 
next meeting.  There being no further businesss befor the church under the different order 
of the day.  The doors of the church was then opened Sister Robt Pool was received for 
baptism after which the meeting adjorned to meet at the Reg. meeting on Sat E__ before 
the second Sunday in July 1905.
