Garfield Baptist Church met Sat July 19=1903 at 2 oclock P M and after 
devotional exercise by the moderater the peice and felowship of the church was 
called for all presant at peice reports of comitty none to report unfinished 
business none new business under this hed a letter from Stepensport Baptist 
Church requesting this church to take a vote as to whether we were infavor of 
going into a new association the Church voted on the affirmative and apointed a 
committy to meet with other churches in Hardinsburg Aug 24-1903 James Taber 
Geog Snider D R M Smith were the comitty apointed.  A letter from Brother 
Washburn from Shrewsbery asking for $1.25 from this church to defra the expense 
of the delegate to the Southern Baptist convention. 
        The doers of the church was opend for reception of members Sister Mary 
Scott presented her letter from Losrun and was accepted Brother Marvin Johnson 
was grated a letter on motion church adjorned.
