Jan - no minutes

Feb - Dismissed by letter C B SMITH, James BARR & Sarah BARR.

Mar - Charge against Martha DENHAM laid by Lidia JORDAN for
         circulating a falsehood against her. J H MEADOR, Isaac
         EVANS, Geo SHIVES, A B AKERS and John WILSON to
         see DENHAM and report.

Apr - James REGISTER preached... No report on Martha DENHAM.

May - No business

Jun - Martha DENHAM excluded. Levy A SMITHWICK called to
        pastor for next 12 months. Nancy LANE and Thomas NEAL
        died since last associational meeting.

Jul - David CAMPBELL to inquire into the cause of Emery CARTER,
       member who has been "acting as he has done". William
       NEAL, Jas NEAL, Asa YOUNG, Joel W FLOWERS and
       Wm JOURDAN to draft rules of decorum. Willis M TURNER,
       H S EVANS & James NEAL delegates to the association. D
       CAMPBELL & James M NEAL to inquire of John NEWMAN and
       wife and Susan and Rebecca LEWIS why they report on their
       letters. Died - Patsy, a black woman and member of the church.

Aug - E CARTER's case referred. Rules of Decorum postponed.
         The NEWMANS and LEWIS' above excluded. Lidia JOURDAN
         acknowledged that she was sorry she got angry re a
         difficulty that had happened previously. 163 members in the
         church.

Sep - no minutes

Oct - rules of decorum approved with no minutes for the rest of the
        year. Some of the rule included the job of the moderator, 
        opening door for new members, only one speaking at a time
        in the business meeting, can't leave during the meeting,
        no one can speak more than 3 times on the same subject
        in one meeting; no laughing or talking while someone else
        has the floor, members must call each other brother or
        sister within the church; moderator can only vote in case of
        tie, members required to attend services and especially on
        business meeting times, members violation rules may be
        dealt with as felt proper.
