        watch care and credit of a letter, M E AKERS by experience

        experience & baptism, J T AKERS, same; Gideon WELLS
        by motion of the church; Zerniah, black, by experience &
        baptism; J S ISENBERG same; Mary BRITT, same; 
        Malinda C JORDIN same; J T DOWNING same; Margaret
        MURPHY same. Regular meeting: D E DOWNING, J W
        GARMON, J M NEAL, Smith JONES & R L LANDRUM
        to find funds for repairing the church.
Feb - Recvd by experience: J H WILSON, Joseph MURPHY &
        James A WILSON. Rhoda ARTERBURN, Isabel GREENUP
        & Susan PATTERSON have joined the Methodist church,
        excluded. Committee from Jan decided to raise subscriptions
        for repairing church.
Mar - Church agrees not to bear with A S JEFFRIES due to his
        long absence and swearing. The other following members's
        names removed from the rolls: N J SHERFEY & P C
        BILLINGSLY for failing to be baptised. Letter of dismision
        granted John JOHNSON and wife Arrena.
Apr - W M TURNER & Hagan GOODMAN preached.
May - Recvd by letter James W GARMON from Fountain Run
         Church and A B JINKINS from Harmony Church. Delegates
         chosen for associational meeting.
Jun - Recvd by letter G W STEPHENSON from Athens Church in
        Monroe Co. Report against Gordin AGERS - he to be cited
        to next meeting. Another membership roll taken for those
        who belonged to the church June 1866. To be started here
        and continued next week:

Dec - James REGISTER preached. Vote taken re the consolidation of Liberty, Bays Fork and Barren River Association into one association. Failed. Voted for consolidation of Barren River and Freedom Association. Protracted
