Jan 1868 - Recvd by experience Elisabeth J PARSLEY. D W 
                DOWNING & W F NEAL to see C RIGGS for failing to
                present his letter to the church. J H NEAL hired as
                sexton for $25. annually. D E DOWNING & John ISENBERG
                to see Perline NEWMAN to see why she is delaying being
                baptized. Joseph MURPHEY granted letter of dismission
                upon request of Robert HALE.

Feb - Jerry JORDAN & W M TURNER preached. Rcvd by letter J W
        DOSSEY & wife - she from the Fountain Run Church in Monroe
        Co. C RIGGS name removed from the rolls. Perlina says she is
        willing to be baptized at any time.

Mar - John PATTERSON preached. Recvd by experience James
        CROHORN and wife Elizabeth. Examination of church book to
        see if records have been accurately kept - yes. Church
        recommended tho that the membership lists show the men
        in one list and the women in the other. 

Apr-May - no minutes

Jun - Franklin TAYLOR preached. Delegates picked.

Jul - F C CHILDERS preached. Letter of dismission to George
       STEVERSON/STEVENSON. Wm TURNER on behalf of his
       daughter, An R TURNER informed the church there are scandels
       circulated by M C GARMON (female) about her. Committee of
       5 to settle the difficulty: Wm F NEAL, D E DOWNING, Ellis
       RIGGS, H S EVANS & J M NEAL.

Aug - Difficulty above discussed. Case opened by Mary BRITT, one
         of the witnesses wasn't there. Postponed until the 13th. M C
         GARMON apologized, denies telling anyone anything; in a
         converstin between A R TURNER and her mother; doesn't
         remember mentioning Sisters C C DOSSY and Susan
         SHIVE, case dropped.

Sep - No business.

Oct - T F TAYLOR preached, he asked to act as Moderator.

Nov - Recvd by experience Samuel Smith TURNER, Malinda TURNER,
        Susan TURNER, Julia Ann EVANS, Margardt D JINKINS.
        John PATTERSON asked to be pastor/moderator.

Dec - John PATTERSON preached. His former church, Fountain
         Run agress to let him go. Protracted services in Dec with the
         following: Recvd James C SMTH by recantation and he 
         allowed to keep his credentials as a minister, John A SMITH,
         James FORD, Marthy ALBANY, Sarah AYERS and
         Harriet ENGLAND by experience.
