Examination of church book to see if records have been accurately kept - yes. Church recommended tho that the membership lists show the men in one list and the women in the other. Wm TURNER on behalf of his daughter, An R TURNER informed the church there are scandels circulated by M C GARMON (female) about her. Committee of 5 to settle the difficulty: Wm F NEAL, D E DOWNING, Ellis RIGGS, H S EVANS & J M NEAL. Aug - Difficulty above discussed. Case opened by Mary BRITT, one of the witnesses wasn't there. Postponed until the 13th. M C GARMON apologized, denies telling anyone anything; in a converstin between A R TURNER and her mother; doesn't remember mentioning Sisters C C DOSSY and Susan SHIVE, case dropped.
