Feb - met at the Springfield Meeting House at Frederick in Barren Co - recvd by letter James HARLOW, Elizabeth HARLOW, and Martha A HARLOW. Recvd by exp - David PHILPOT. Apr - met at the same place; David FILPOT [sic] acknowledged he'd been in a difficulty with Frederick TRENT, accepted. Jun - met same place. Ruth TRENT, Waddy THOMPSON & Elizabeth THOMPSON wish to leave the church and join with a party that left us who sustain the modern missions system. Dec - Met same place. David PHIULPOT and W ERWIN to see Sister EMBREE, Nasetta SMITH and Sister Viney to see if they wish to continue their membership. 1843: Jan - those named above wish to leave the church. Feb - Jane PHILPOT recvd by letter May - Sister Ann A BDRADLEY dismissed by letter. 1844: Note that records from Nov 1844 to Apr 1845 lost Oct 1845: "The Committee thought it most adviseable for the Church to disolve that they ware not in a Situation to Keep House and it was Agreed to by those present and it was directed to give Letters of Dismission to certain individuals and to Take charge of this Book until some dissollisitations. I loan it to Sister Elizabeth EMBEWY she to take Special good Cair of it and Return it to me again in some reasonable time. Given under my hand this 11th Day of January 1853. /s/ STEPHEN RATLIFF."
