This area shows Hwy. 86 (the part that goes southeast to Custer and the part that goes north to Clifton Mills and Lodiburg)and Hwy. 60.

One cemetery I wasn't able to identify beyond a general area listing, is that of the old Chalkie Cemetery.  From what I understand, my g-g-grandmother (who was a Haynes) is buried in the cemetery along with quite a few of her Haynes and Wood family.  At present, the location pinned with pink tackpins is the rough approximation of where the area is.  I do know that as of April, 2006, the cemetery was considered neglected and abandoned. 
  
The cemeteries listed within are just what I know of or were able to find via topography maps.  Over time, hopefully more will be located and identified.

I also listed Mt. Laurel Lake, a retreat that I (with my family and my coworkers)have been to for peace and quiet along with some relaxation.  It is also a guide marker I have for Hwy. 86 so I can get to other cemeteries.
