If you dream about gathering roses, you will win the one you desire. 
If you dream of orange blossoms, your marriage will be happy. 
If your cigarette burns out suddenly, your love is cheating on you. 
A tealeaf floating in your cup indicates a man in your life, and the longer the 
stem, the taller your sweetheart will be. 
To identify your true love, twist the stem of an apple and say the alphabet at 
the same time.  Where it breaks indicates the initial of the one who loves you. 
Name an apple for the person you want as your sweetheart.  Try to break it in 
half with your hands.  If you succeed, that person will be yours. 
Name the post or the four corners of your bed for potential sweethearts.  The 
corner you see first when you awake is the one you are going to marry. 
Put half of a lemon on the bedpost before going to sleep, and that night you 
will dream o fthe one who will be your mate. 
Peel an apple without breaking the peel and throw it over your shoulder.  It

affections you want to win. 
Collect a lock of hair from someone you want to be close to, braid it and wear 
it when you want the person to think of you. 
Point your shoes towards the door for nine nights in a row, and the one you 
desire will come through that door.
