Arthur MacFaul, who married Miss Mary Hubbard Smith at the Methodist Church in Cynthiana Feb. 22, 1910, shot and killed himself at a hotel in Orange Texas Thursday. Mrs. MacFaul left Orange on Monday of last week, and after spending a day with her sister, Dr. Edith Smith, in Cincinnati, reached Cynthiana Friday night. The suicide occurred after she left Texas. She is the daughter of Prof. N. F. Smith, for many years one of the foremost educators of Kentucky. Rev. MacFaul's wife had filed for divorce. Deceased was little more than 32 years of age, having been born in Tennessee on 13 Jan 1878. He was an honor graduate of Denison University at Danville, IL. Mr. Warren Ingles, aged 69 years, died Thursday at the home of his sister, Miss Bettie Ingles, in Paris. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Moore of Lexington, one sister, Miss Bettie Ingles with whom he resided. Rev. J. H. Wallingford, 72 years old, a retired minister of the Primitive Baptist church died Thursday afternoon. He was a native of Mason Co. Widow Gray, aged about 65, a sister of Mr. Alex Caldwell, who made her home with her brother-in-law, Mr. John Lukes, below Butler, committed suicide by drowning in Licking River. Taylor, age 73 years, died at his hom en Milford, Tuesday, 3rd of May of heart disease and dropsy. Survived by wife, Miss Martha Culp, one son, Chas. Taylor of Curry. He was a member of the Beaver Baptist church where the funeral and burial took place. Born To Mr. & Mrs. J. H. Marsh, of Venus, a daughter. To Mr. & Mrs. J. T. Harper, on May 2, a daughter. To Mr. & Mrs. Jeff Caswell, May 5, a son. To Mr. & Mrs. W. H. Humphrey, a son. Weight 11 pounds. Mrs. H. was formerly Miss Williams. Selma James Crosthwait, aged 77, died at Boyers Chapel. Artie C., daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Arthur Parker, died in Sadieville. Elder Rogers, weight 300 pounds, pastor at Stringtown and Mason, died last week and was buried with Masonic honors.
