Louis Frank, 79 years old, for more than half a century the leading dry goods merchant of Paris, died shortly before 12 o’clock Friday at his home, corner of High Street and Broadway. He started his business in 1854 and continued for 55 years. He amassed a fortune, his store being one of the largest in Central Kentucky, and which is continued by his sons, Mr. B. A. Frank and Mr. Robert Lee Frank, and Mrs. Lee Price, under the firm name of Frank and Company. He married Miss Julia Amenda, who survives with seven children: Dr. Louis Frank of Louisville; Dr. Benjamin Frank of New York; B. A. Frank, Julian Frank, Robert Lee Frank, Miss Carrie Frank and Helen Frank all of Paris. Her body was shipped to Georgetown to the residence of her sister, Mrs. John E. Pack. R. M. Price of Mexico, MO, father of Mrs. Gentry Paxton, of Georgetown died Thursday night. Barney Williams fell 60 feet from the Q. & C. bridge near Georgetown and was fatally hurt. Miss Martha J. Moore, aged 72, died at Georgetown. Their marriage leaked out before the happy participants had left the Galloway home for the 9:30 train for a trip to New Orleans and Texas, and when they arrived at the L. & N. depot to board the train “all were there” to extend congratulations and wish them bon voyage with a lavish shower of rice. The groom, one of the most elegant of gentlemen, is the popular and efficient cashier of the Citizens Bank, a man of exemplary habits and clean social and business life. The bride is one of Falmouth’s loveliest daughters, “a pearl of great price.” She is tall and graceful brunette, sweet and lovely in disposition, and is endowed with attributes of mind and heart which all a glow and beauty to the noblest types of peerless womanhood. . . . Survived by husband and three daughters. Her sister is Mrs. Kate Northcutt. At Jacksonville, Tuesday night, William, the little son of Mr. & Mrs. William Cantrill, died from spinal meningitis. He was 6 years old. John Egnew, age 62, died at Oddville, 8 October and was buried at Beaver Baptist. His home was in Kansas and he was here on a visit. The infant son of Mr. & Mrs. John C. Henry, died at their home near Mt. Carmel, Tuesday. Burial in Battle Grove. Triplets, all girls, were born Saturday, 8 Oct. 1910, to Mr. & Mrs. S. D. Miller, of Clark, residing eight miles from Lexington on the Winchester pike. The combined weight of the three was 17 ˝ lbs. They have been christened Catherine Coleman, Carolyn Brown and Corinne Barkley Miller.
