Widow of Luther Reeves. Mother of Jessie, Homer, Tom, Luther and Alberta. Cynthiana Democrat 15 Dec 1910 Thursday Vol. 63 No. 12 10 Pages Pg. 2 Col. 2 Suicide Mrs. Elizabeth Reeves, widow of Luther Reeves, hanged herself. She was about 48. Daughter of Thomas Paynter of Ruddles Mills. Surviving children are Miss Jessie and Alberta, Tom and Luther of this city and Homer Reeves of Missouri. Her husband died near Ruddles Mills several months ago as the result of being stuck in the head with a rock by his son, Tom. The son was exonerated at the examining trial at Paris on the grounds of self defense. The father stated on his death bed that he was responsible for the trouble. Burial in Battle Grove. Dougherty, aged 71, died in Paris Tuesday. Survived by wife formerly Miss Anna Maria Garrard, four sons and two daughters. Dr. C. G. Dougherty is a son. Mrs. Bryon McClelland, aged 49, died in Lexington, on Tuesday. Her husband, died in 1897. She was formerly Sallie Smith of Bourbon Co. _____nard age 90 years, died at the County Infirmary Tuesday. He was formerly a school teacher and quite well known. Buried at Battle Grove. W. H. Myers, buried at Beaver Baptist, 18 Dec 1910. Albert C. Adair, died at Paris, Thursday, age 54, of consumption. Was 36 years manager of Western Union Telegraph office and twelve year as city clerk. Survived by mother, sister and two sons. “Cap” Chas. Seaman, formerly well known railroad conductor in KY, died 8 Dec in El Paso, TX. Brought to Lexington for burial. Mrs. James B. Finnell, wife of Judge Finnell, died at Georgetown Monday. Mrs. Frank Cravens, (Lillie Smith), died at home in Lexington, 25 Nov 1910. Born in Harrison Co. Howe, 57 at Elizaville; at Maranda, David M. Stevenson, age 63. Grant Co. Died: Robert Sheruff, age 98 yrs and 9 months. Born in Ireland. Born to wife of John Brumback, a son. Scott Co. Oscar Henderson, 5 years old, was burned to death while playing with fire. Bourbon Co. Died: Floyd, 4 year old son of Andrew Hodge; Mrs. George Mitchell, 20; Mrs. Lucy Woodford Buckner, 90; Mrs. Ralph Reynolds at Jacksonville, IL ; Ayelette Hawes Bedford, age 72 at Holbart, OK. Pendleton Co. Died: Mrs. Ada Stitch, 57; at Joplin, MO, Jas. J. Braun, 56; L. R. Laycock, 75; Stephen Cundiff, 84; Mrs. Helena Frances Parker, 72; Henry Clay Langley, 60; In Chicago, Maryt E. Rawlings, age 45; A Los Angeles, CA, Professor H. E. Holton, 72. Born: To wife of John French, a daughter; Jas.
