Mrs. Matilda Hieatt, wife of late Rill Hieatt, died of heart disease on Thursday. She was 60 years old. Survived by daughter, Nurse at Harrison Hospital Lillie Hieatt, Miss Hattie Hieatt and Will Hieatt and Quincy Watson, son of former marriage, of Claysville. Burial in Battle Grove. Survived by wife, formerly Miss Jennie Renaker, three daughters and one son: Miss Lorraine K. Scott, Mrs. Clay Renaker, Miss Ollie Henry and Robert W. Henry. Mrs. Fannie Lafferty is a sister. His brother, Jno. Henry, died a number of years ago; his youngest son, it will be remembered was accidently killed by falling from a train in West Virginia, several years ago, while on a pleasure trip east. Survived by three brothers, Charles T. Eals of Cynthiana, Harry T. Eals of Frankfort and Ashby Eals of Louisville. Also survived by three sisters; Mrs. W. B. Taylor , of Bethany, WV; Mrs. Harmon of Cincinnati and Miss Lucy Eals of Bethany, WV. He was born 23 Dec 1874 and was one day short of being 36 years old. Born in Bourbon Co. Youngest of thirteen children and the eleventh son. Mrs. Margaret Newell Garnett, died Christmas Eve. Born on 16 Dec 1822, died 24 Dec 1910 or eight days past her 88th birthday. Daughter of Hugh Newel. Married William Garrett. They had five children with four surviving; Mrs. Paul King, Hugh, Clarence and Lark T. Garnett. Her husband died about 20 years ago. Buried at Battle Grove. Z. F. Fisher age 56, died at his home in Berry on Saturday. Survived by wife, formerly Miss Maggie Gehr and three children. (Not named) Herbert Cason, age 22, son of John Cason, died Tuesday of TB at Leeslick. Burial in Family Graveyard. R. L. Abernathy, cashier of Leesburg Bank, was called to Dry Ridge because of the death of his mother. Mrs. Matilda Hieatt dropped dead at Claysville Tuesday. Judge John D. Died: Mrs. Anna Young widow of Wake S. Young in Lexington; Mrs. Anna Rossell Wilson wife of H. A. Wilson; Jas. Whaley, age 86; Pansy Berry, 23; W. T. Price, 73 Pendleton Co. The Mt. Moriah Christian Church in Pendleton Co. was burned on the 11th. Origin of fire was not known. Elder McGarvey Lenox is the pastor and conducted services Sunday. The building was erected 42 years ago and was a splendid county church. Died: Mrs. Elizabeth Evans Foster, 77 years; Miss Mary Ancheter, 24; Mrs. Richard Barrett, 63; Ethel Green, 13; Mrs. J. F. Moore, 48; Mrs. Flora Seaman, 69. Born to wife of Rev. E. K. Arnold, a daughter; to wife of Rev. R. H. Tolle, a daughter; to wife of Belie Thornsberry, a son; To wife of William Bond, a son; To wife of Leslie Ballinger, a son. Houston Morford, formerly of Pendleton Co., was accidently killed by cars in a railroad yard in Cincinnati. Robertson Co. Died at Newkirk, OK, Mrs. Lydia Jacobs Austin. Born on 10th inst. to wife of Eliza M. Ishmael of Pinhook a fine son. Grant Co. Jerome Maynor formerly of Grant Co. was killed by cars at Henryetta, OK. Bourbon Co. Thomas Glenn formerly of Bourbon Co. died at Union City, IN. Mrs. Sarah Taylor, aged 72, died in Bourbon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dora Scott. Miss Mary Frances Bedford, daughter of John W. A. Bedford died in Lexington. Scott Co. Milton Ellis, well known colored man, found dead in bed. Died: Oscar Nutter, aged 56; Mrs. Wick B. Bennett, 25.
