Cox of Junction City, KY to Mr. Littleton C. Rice of Cynthiana will be married this morning at the home of the bride's parents. The bride is the sister of Mr. T. A. Hendricks of tis city. Mr. Rice is the son of Mrs. Nora Serivner, who was the former Miss Nora Robertson sister of Messrs. T. J. and W. C. Robertson. Her father L. C. Rice deceased was formerly of Madison County. Forrester - Desha The wedding of Miss Mary Forrester, of Louisville, to Mr. Junius Desha, of Nashville, son of the late Jack Desha of Cynthiana will be solemnized this evening at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Anchorage. Miss Virginia Barclay will be Miss Forrester's maid of honor and Jack Desha will be his brother's best man. Miss agnes Veech and Jacqueline Franky will be the flower girls. There will be four ushers, James Willey, Sam Harwell, Jr., James Drummond and Guy Forrester. The ceremony will be followed by a reception at the counrty home of the bride's parents, Mr. & Mrs. W. S. Son of Robert Link and was connected to the Link Grocery Company. At the residence of the officiating minister, Eld. Carey E. Morgan, on Twelfth Street, Thursday morning, at ten o'clock, Miss Lourenia Collins daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Albert Collins of Jacksonville neighborhood and Mr. William P. Quinlan, of Paris were united in marriage. Taylor Jones aged 24 years, and Miss Mittle Collins, aged 22 years, went to Lexington, Thursday afternoon and after securing a marriage license, repaired to the office of Justice Abner Oldham, where they were married. The couple will reside near Hutchinson station. The marriage of Mr. James L. Rankin and Miss Sadie Rose, both of near Ruddells Mills took place Thursday morning at the home of the misses Williams on Pleasant street. Nicholas Co. James K. Kendle, died at his home in the county from syncope. Age 64 in October. He cut a small place in his leg on Monday and Tuesday morning he fell in his yard and instantly expired. Robertson Co. Mr. Ed Hornbeck and Miss Mamie Gough, were united in holy bonds of matrimony at the home of the bride's grandmother, Mrs. Rebecca Gough,one and one half miles from town on the Sardis pike, Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Shelton Morris died at her home near Mayslick of consumption, age 19 years, 1 month, and 4 days. Born: On Sunday last to the wife of Sam Mastin, of Hitt vicinity, a son, second child. Scott Co. Joseph Foke, died suddenly after an illness of about a half hour. His death was due to apoplexy. Age 46 years. Survived by widow but no children. The marriage of Thos. J. Evans, of Lexington, and Miss Catherine S. Neton, of Franklin county, which took place in Georgetown July 15th, has just been made public. Mrs. Sue Offutt, an attractive and estimable woman, wife of Mr. Will N. Offutt, died at their home in Georgetown. Grant Co. Fast passenger train No. 2 ran down William J. Roberts about a mile and a half north of Crittenden Sunday evening and instantly killed him. The train which was runing a mile a minute struck Roberts and literally cut him to pieces.
