Poindexter has completed a contract for laying in concrete the old family burying ground on the Tebbs Farm a short distance from Cynthiana on the Connersville Pike. The plot is about 30 feet square. Like most of the family grave yards it was found difficult to keep the place free from briars and weeds and concrete was resorted to as the best arrangement. The old stone fence was removed, the ground leveled and the concrete spread on smoothly. There are posts at each corner, shorter posts about ten feet apart and bound together by iron rods set in the concrete. In the center of the plot is a concrete block about four feet high on which the names of the dead are carved. There have been burials in the plot since 1833, the year cholera raged in this section of Kentucky.
