Son of Joshua and Anna Prather Clary. Married second time to Miss Cora Robertson of Cynthiana on 17 Jun 1897 who survives. A son by previous marriage also survives, Howe Clary. Survived by brother and two sisters: Jos. M. Clary; Mrs. W. F. Berry of Cynthiana; Mrs. J. D. Bernaugh, of Paris. Four brothers and four sisters are dead (not named). Buried in Battle Grove. He was married twice with the last wife, Miss Bryant surviving. He was 66. Leaves no children. M. Spicer died Friday age 79. She was paralyzed on her right side 14 years ago. Her husband is 84 years old. She is survived by husband and all ten of her children. They are: Joe who lives in Lexington; William in Williamstown, KY; Mrs. Edna Clark of Cynthiana; Jas and Mrs. Dollie Howard of Decatur, IL; Jerome and Ernest of Chicago; John of Covington; Robert of Missouri and Philip Jr. who lives here and was his mothers caretaker for the past 14 years. Cynthiana Democrat 13 Jun 1912 Thursday Vol. 64 No. 38 Pg. 7 Col. 5 Claysville (Ella Minor Hitch) Mrs. Susan Lavisa Moore Spicer, wife of Philip Spicer, died in Milford 7 June 1912. Age 69 years. Surviving are husband; Robert in Columbia, MO; Joseph in Lexington; James, Maroa, IL; Mrs. Edna Clark, Cynthiana; Jerome and Ernest in Chicago; William in Falmouth; J. T. in Covington; Mrs. Dollie Howard who will now live with her father; P. M., Milford’s most popular undertaker. All children except Bob who is sick were at the bedside at her death. Buried in Milford Cem. Mr. & Mrs. George Price and daughter, Cora, of Sunrise spent Sunday with Mrs. Ada and Emma Carr. Mr. Estin Sonte, of Cincinnati, with his wife, son, niece and Miss Anna Morgan, came to spend the day with Mrs. T. J. Langley, a relative and Miss Anna’s sister, also Mrs. Langley’s daughter, Mrs. Eliza Asbury and three children. Her son Luther Colvin, wife and son, granddaughter, Mrs. Anna Williams, and husband enjoyed the day and dinner with Mr. & Mrs. Langley, who knows so well how to tickle the appetite and extend a hearty welcome to all. Clarence Worsell, formerly of Georgetown, son of David Worsell, now of Leesburg, died at his home at Beavertown, OH. He was buried at that place. Survived by wife, Miss Nora Barlow, of Bourbon Co. and a daughter (not named). Age 38. Pendleton Co. Died: Miss Jessie Drake, 24; Joshua McGraw, 73; Wm. Mann; Mrs. John R. Holmes, at Wills Point, TX; H. C. Manning formerly of Pendleton Co. Grant Co. W. R. Sheriff, suicide, buried in Williamstown Cem. Will Mann, died in Lexington at the insane asylum. Buried in Williamstown Cem. Dr. G. W. Tucker, of Dana, IN. Funeral on Monday. Died in Indianapolis after an operation. Survived by husband and nine children (not named), parents; Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Giles of Scott Co. She had six brothers survive (not named) and three sisters: Mrs. Sarah Hamon, Mrs. Alice Milner and Mrs. Nettie Sharp.
