The body was found Saturday morning on Mrs. Barbara Klee’s farm near Falmouth. He had about $200 with him. He was not see again alive. He was a man who staid close at home and had not been absent over night for years. The search was continued without avail until Saturday, when two boys found the body near on old stone quarry with his head crushed into an unrecognizable mass. They hurried to town and notified the sheriff and the coroner, and several men went to the place at once where an inquest was held. It is thought that his head had been beaten with rocks, and this, together with the action of the weather, was the cause of his head decomposed more than the rest of his body. L. D.
