Miss Lee HUDSON and her brother Harry, are visiting relatives near Oak Hill. Miss Lizzie WALLER will spend the summer with her aunt, Mrs. EDMUNDS, near Beckton. Mr. Will OTTER and wife have moved to this place and are living with Mrs. Ann REYNOLDS. All the early fruit is thought to be killed by the last cold spell, while wheat, oats and clover are not damaged very much. Our old merchant, J D YOUNG has moved his entire stock of goods from here to the old MOSBY stand on Caney Fork. Dubb GREER has returned hom after a brief stay in the west, and says he thinks home is the best place he has ever struck. Our school is progressing nicely under the management of Miss Fannie LEWIS, but why should it not when Miss Fannie possesses all the qualifications of a good teacher.
