(dh - Long article about history of church etc. ) Pg. 5 Col. 2 DEATHS Mrs. Mary E. Conrad, aged 58 years died early Wednesday morning, after a protracted illness. She was formerly Miss Mary Goodnight, daughter of George Goodnight. Member of Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two sons, George of Newport, Louis, of Lexington and one daughter, Mrs. Ed. Willis of this city. Her husband, John Conrad, has been dead a number of years. She also leaves one brother, Mr. James Goodnight, of Newport, and one sister, Mrs. Lawrence Adams, of Connersville. Burial in Battle Grove. Pg. 6 Col. 1 Claysville T. W. Beckett and wife, Miss Lola Whitley and Tom Colvin attended the funeral of Mrs. N. R. Whitheead at Sunrise Sunday. Conrey Born to the wife of Mr. William Roberts, a fine boy. Miss Kate Cummins looks with pride on her exceedingly large number of young chickens and turkeys. Pg. 6 Col. 2 Boyd Again the death angel has come to our earthly home and has taken from our midst, Velma, the bright little daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Will Dance. She leaves a mother, father and two little sisters, Edna and Marie, to mourn her loss. P. C. Anderson, wife and daughter Christine, and Miss Katie Roberts attended the funeral of Joe Woolery at Antioch Mills Monday May 18th. Curry Born on the 17th to the wife of Frank Worrell, a daughter. Pg. 6 Col. 3 Pedro Coleman Williams and family, of Cynthiana, were the guests of John Harper and wife on Locust Ave. Pg. 7 Col. Connersville The funeral of late Willie Neff at the home of his parents near Robinson was largely attended. Sunrise The funeral services of Mrs. N. R. Whitheead were held at the Christian Church Sunday evening at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Samuel Foley, of Falmouth. Mrs. Whitheead was the daughter of T. J. Langley. She leaves her husband, N. R. Whitheead, two daughters, Corda and Florence and one son, Clarence. SHe was not yet 48 years old. Berry Born to the wife of Leslie Beagle, a boy. Born to the wife of George Booher, a daughter. Mrs. Booher was Miss Pearl Terry, of Cynthiana. Died, Mrs. Henry Wiglesworth, Friday May 15. Burial in Pythian Grove Cem. She leaves a husband and seven children. She died of consumption. Died, the child of Wm. Dance, at the age of 18 months. Pg. 7 Col. 3 Barefoot Born on the 11th, to the wife of Joe Kennedy, a girl. Pg. 8 Col. 3 NEIGHBORING COUNTIES Bourbon Co.
