We understood Mr. Ingles to say that Mrs. Keller first married William Shawhan, when, in fact, it was Mrs. Keller's daughter who married William Shawhan, of Missouri. Mrs. Keller was only married once, her husband being Mr. Hugh Keller, who died about 8 years ago as stated last week. Pg. 3 Col. 2 Resolution Women's Foreign Missionary Society of Mt. Hope Church adopt a resolution in memory of Mrs. Henry Bailey. Pg. 3 Col. 4 Curry On Monday, June 1, Otis, the 17 year old son of Mrs. Mary Harris, departed this live to the world beyond. Burial in the Curry Cem. Kelat Born to the wife of A. M. Carr, a girl, Isabel Louise. Mrs Carr was formerly Isabel Lang. Pg. 5 Col. 2 Rutland Phoebe McKenney, daughter of Jackson McKenney, died near Corinth Monday night and was buried near here Tuesday. Pg. 5 Col. 3 DEATHS Mr. Henry Jackson Willis died at his home in this city Saturday night at 8 o'clock. He was born Oct 2nd, 1857 and died at the age of 57 years. He is survived by wife, five daughters and host of friends. Otis Harris, age 17, died June 2nd. See Curry Items The death angel has come to the home of Mr. & Mrs. Jesse Wilson at Covington and laid its cold hands on their son, John who died June 6th with that dreadful disease, consumption. If he had lived to October he would have been 18 years old. Buried in the Baskett Grave yard near Boyd. He leaves parents, five sisters and three brothers. Mrs. John Barnes death occurred sudddenly last Satruday afternoon at the family residence at Kelat and was due to heart disease. She is survived by husband, three brothers, Peter, Joe S. and Wyatt Martin and sisters, Mrs. Polly Slade, Mrs. W. T. Criswell, Mrs. Willis Criswell and Mrs. Walter Hill. Another brother, John W. Martin, died at Sweet Springs, MO on May 19th. She was about 40 years old and a member of the Methodist Church. Buried at Benson. Allen Ammerman, aged 48 years died of peritonitis, resulting from appendicitis, at Harriosn Hospital shortly before midnight on Wednesday. He was son of Mr. & Mrs. Joel Ammerman of this county. He is survived by one brother, James and two sisters having died some years ago. He was buried in Battle Grove Cem. Pg. 7 Col. 2 Latonia Atlee Cummins attended the dormitory dedication at the Masonic Home at Louisville Sunday. Our Lodge has contracted to furnish a dormitory for the "boys."
