Son of William H. and Mary Land Cox, born 7 Jul. 1872 and was 36y 6m 9d old. Bookkeeper of Farmers National Bank. in Jan. 1891, Teller in 1893 and Cashier since 1903. Buried at Battle Grove. LOG CABIN Fri. 22 Jan 1909 Vol. 14 No. 4 Pg. 7 Col. 3 DEATHS HOWARD SHADD Died 14 Jan. 1909, age 2. Buried at Berry. THOMAS SPRADLING Brother of Col. A. W. Spradling, of Berry died in Fleming Co. 12 Jan 1909 age 88. Moved to Fleming Co. in1866. He served in the Union Army during the Civil War. He was member of Co. C, 55th KY, Infantry. He had five brothers who served in that regiment until the close of the war. He leaves a wife, seven children and one brother, Col. A. W. Spradling. MRS. MOLLIE MAFFETT Died 19 Jan. 1909, buried in Battle Grove. Formerly Miss Mollie Ravenscraft. Survived by two sons, Harry Maffett in the revenue service and William Maffett, assistant postmaster of Cynthiana and two daughter, Mrs. Paul Kimbrough and Mrs. Will Jones. A son, Charley Maffett, died last year. JAMES RITCHESON Died near Breckenridge last Saturday at age 78. Buried in Battle Grove. Survived by brother: Newton Ritcheson; two sisters: Mrs. Susan Hinkson and Mrs. Dallie Adams: three sons; Cal, Missouri; William, Harrison Co.and Arthur, Cincinnati: four daughters; Mrs. Faulconer, Ruddles Mills; Mrs. Eaton, Cincinnati; Mrs. Hall, Missouri and Susan of Harrison Co. His wife died last year. WILLIAM MATHERS Age 73, died of old age near Oddville, Monday. Buried in Oddville Cem. Survived by wife, Nee Hayes, and four sons: John, Cynthiana, James, Joe and Thomas. HANSON CRISWELL Son of J. R. Criswell of Curry, age 4 died Tuesday. Buried at Mt. Pleasant. PLEASANT GREEN Born to the wife of J. W. Watson, of Latonia, a "ten pound republican." Jim Richardson, died naer Tricum. Miss Ann McClain, died Thursday, funeral Saturday.
