B. Fowler, which was probated this week. The will was dated 19 Mar. 1909, and was witnessed by Geo. F. Henry, M.D. and L. D. Hall. The will says he wishes his wife to retain all property owned by her previous to their marriage, but no more; that he wishes his property to go towards paying his debts, and the reminder, including the farm to go equally to his two daughters. He named L. D. Hall and John Foley, his two sons-in-law, as executors; and directs that L. D. Hall remain in charge of the farm for the year 1909. He directs that his wife have her share of the proceeds from the 1906 and 1907 tobacco crops. He says his wife's property was heavily involved when he took charge of it and he had paid it out and he wants her to have it and it only. Mr. Foley declined to qualify and Mr. Hall offered to give bond. Mrs. Fowler and a number of creditors protested against allowing Mr. Hall to qualify claiming him to be incompetent. After hearing testimony Judge King decided that there was no legal reasons to prevent Mr. Hall from qualifying to do so.
