He has been missing for some days and yesterday relatives went to Butler to see whether they could identify the body. The particulars from the Butler Reformer: "Monday morning at 5 o'clock, as Ben Morris was going down the railroad track, about 300 yards west of the depot, he dicovered the headless trunk of a man lying between the rails. An arm was found a little west of the body and still further away was the head. The remains were brought to Galloway's undertaking establishment, where it was prepared for burial. Nothing was found on the dead man that could in any way identify him. He was a man apparently between 25 and 30 years old; had dark red hair and beard the latter one week old; he was about five feet 9 inches high, and weighed 130 pounds. He wore corduroy trousers, blue and white striped cotton shirt, dark coat and black soft hat. He had evidently been riding on the bumpers of the south bound freight and probably fell asleep" LATER The remains were buried in Butler, but a photograph, taken of the body, was recognized yesterday to be that of James Fitzwater. The remains will not be disintered now but will likely be moved here later. Pg. 2 Col. 4,6 Ad for: B. F. Goldnamer Leading Clothier, Cynthiana, KY Half Price Sale for Saturday, Aug. 1st.
