L. Denton, died. Robert P. McMillan, age 42, died and buried at Elizabethtown, KY. Robert Clark of Escandido, died at age 45. Mrs. Nannie Thomas Grimes died in Paris. Mr. Marion Buckhannan died suddenly of heart disease while in bed Monday morning. Miss Nellie Hicks was united in marriage to Mr. Ernst Mann Earlywine at the residence of the officiating minister, Elder Carey E. Morgan at 6 o'clock Saturday evening. Rigg, who has been stationed at Boise, Idaho, arrived from Louisville the first of the week for a short visit with his parents, returning to Louisville, Tuesday. A little later he will come for a visit of several weeks and his wife and children who are in Louisville will join him here next month. Lieut. Riggs had been assigned to duty as instructor at West Point Military Academy for four years. Gen. and Mrs. John B. Kerr who have been visiting Capt. and Mrs. B. T. Riggs and oher relatives in Kentucky, left Tuesday for New York whence they sail for Europe. They will be abroad a ear, most of which time will be spent in Paris. Survived by wife and seven children. MISS OLLIE ROSE Age 13, daughter of Ace Rose, of Kelat, died in Cynthiana Saturday. Burial at Kelat. MRS. MARGARET KENDALL ARMSTRONG Widow of Dr. W. T. Armstrong, died Sunday at home in Cynthiana. Age 75, formerly Miss Margaret Bott, daughter of Edmund Bott who was formerly sheriff of Fleming Co. Her husband died 9 years ago. Survived by six children: D. W. G. Armstrong, Tilton, KY; T. B. Armstrong, Mrs. W. B. Trumbo, Sr., Mrs. C. H. Ashton, Mrs. J. G. Glenn, all of Louisville; Mrs. R. V. Bishop, Cynthiana. Buried in Flemingsburg. SARAH CURRIE PALMER Formerly of Sunrise, died 2 Apr. 1909 in Dayton, OH. She was born at Moore's Hill, IN, 20 Jul. 1857. On 29 Dec. 1885 she married John M. Palmer who is now Lieutenant of Guards at the National Military Home at Dayton, OH. They had thre children, one son and two daughter, who survive with father, two half brothers half sister and grandmother. She died at age 51y 8m 18d. Buried at Woodlawn Cemetery [Dayton, OH? dh] A. R. FISHER Age 84, died at home in Carlisle Monday. Survived by three daughters: Mrs. S. K. Veach, Mrs. F. B. Henry and Miss Lutie Fisher of Louisville, Dr. Samuel Fisher, Headquarters and C. H. Fisher, Carlisle. JOSEPH HOUSTON Age 56, died Sunday of heart trouble at his residence near Centerville. Son of late John Kenney Houston. He m1. Miss Molie Cummings who bore him 10 children, eight still living: Sam Houston, Joseph Houston Jr., William Houston, Miss Hazel Houston, Mrs. Cora Houston Smith, Mrs. Lena Jones, Mrs. Annie Gorham and Mrs. Hallie Spears. m2. Miss Julia Smith who survived with two small sons,Ben and Woodford Houston. Buried at Jacksonville. MRS. ELIZA FRAZER Age 76, died 17 Jun. 1909 at home of her daughter, Mrs. Sudie Reynolds. Last surviving child of the late Joseph Patterson and was born on his estate near Broadwell, later occupied by the late Levi Patterson, her brother. Married Dr. Hub Frazer, who has been dead for a number of years. She is ssruvived by one daughter, Mrs. Sudie Reynolds, and one son, Joel Frazer, Covington. Burial was in Battle Grove. JOHN W. URMSTON Died at his home at Boardwell on Tuesday. Buried in Jacksonville Cemetery He was son of Thomas asnd Eliza Harcourt Urmston, born 20 Nov. 1836. His grandfather, Benjamin Urmston, was one of the founders of the now thriving city of Chillicothe, OH. He is survived by his wife, nee Gray and four children: Thomas D. and Stewart Urmston, Mrs. R. LOG CABIN Fri. 25 Jun 1909 Vol. 14 No. 26 Pg. 7 Col. 3 POINDEXTER Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Ecklar and two sons, Dr. and Mrs. G. A. Bekett, of Berry were guests of Mr. & Mrs. Jno. T. Cummins, last Sunday. Mrs. H. M. King formerly Miss Ella Cummins, was visiting her parents Mr. & Mrs. J. T. Cummins the past week, to be with her sister, Miss Anna Cummins. Mr. Walter Colby, of Poindexter, and Miss Sadie Cummins attneded the ice cream supper at Kelat on last Saturday. Messrs. Ora and Nelson Cummins, age 13 and 11 years of Poindexter, have out a fine patch of tobacco. 1 acre of it is as large as a plate. Miss Annie H. Cummins is home now improving nicely, and thanks to Mr. & Mrs. May and others at Leesburg very much of kindnesses they have shown her. An injured arm is the only result of her fall.
