Born to the wife of R. D. Worthington, a son - Thomas Edward. Born to the wife of O. W. Conrad, nee Lettie Baird, a daughter - Louise Hite, on 6 Aug. 1909. Married Martha Jane McCauley on 13 Feb. 1884. They had three children: Clarence born 1887; a child who died in infancy in 1903; Mary Alice born 1905. Survived by parents, one son, Clarence, one daughter, Mary Alice, two brothers, Yancey of Millersburg and J. B. of Harrison Co. Also six sisters: Mrs. I. B. Patterson, Colville; Mrs. John Milford Levingood, Barefoot; Mrs. J. T. Blackburn, Converse, IN; MRs. O. F. Smith, Shady Nook; Mrs. Kirby Whalen, Cynthiana; Miss Bessie Florence of Harrison Co. MRS. MATILDA A. CUMMINS Age 52, died SUnday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. & Mrs. John Lizer, Carthage, OH. Buired at Battle Grove Cemetery. She was daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Rankin. Besides her parents she leaves two brohters, James Rankin, Cynthiana, Joseph Rankin, IN, and one sister, Miss Sallie Rankin, Cynthiana. Also three daughters: Ms. John Lizer, Carthage, OH; Mrs. Frank Gazzard, Walnut Hills, OH; Miss Flossie, Rebecca and Clara Ann Cummins, Ohio. [Five names were given when the daughters were listed. dh] LUTHER FOGLE Age 23, died at Boyd on Monday, of typhoid fever. Son of W. T. Fogle. Buried at Pythian Grove Cemetery. JOHN B. GIBSON Age 65, died Friday. From Bracken Co. but lived in Harrison for 22 years. Survived by his wife, formerly Miss Margaret Melvin. This first wife, Miss Eliza Taylor died some years ago. His son Harry was killed by a train several years ago. Buried at Battle Grove. HARVEY W. RALSTON Age 42, died of pneumonia at his home near Salem on Sunday. Native of Garrard Co. Survived by wife, nee Anderson, of Garrard Co., four children and aged mother. MRS. FANNIE SWITZER Age 80, died at Harrison Co. Infirmary Sunday. Taken to Corinth for burial. WILLIAM ASBURY BROADWELL Age 54, died at Milton, Iowa, 4 Sep. 1909. Buired at Battle Grove. Brother of Mrs. Frank G. Sparke and Miss Bessie Broadwell. Son of late M. L. Broadwell.
