Ellis, one daughter, Miss Daisy Ellis, one step-daughter, Miss Lavenia Holton, three brothers, Nelson of Oklahoma City, Hayden and Wiley of Butler, KY. and four sisters, Mrs. Charlie Jones of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Will Thomasson of Newport, Mrs. Jerry Pribble and Miss Arabella Ellis of Butler, KY John W. Shannon d. Wednesday in Cynthiana. Native of Fleming Co. age 68 last August. m. Mary Patton, of Bourbon Co. Survived by one son, Charley Shannon. Buried in Millersburg Cem. J. C. Redd, d. Sunday near Renaker of pneumonia at the age of 70. b. Harrison Co. 1840, son of Alexander Redd. m1. Aurel Pixley who died very soon after marriage. m2. Fannie Barnes 1877. Cummins has been called to the bedside of her sister, Mrs. Ben Whitaker, of Sunrise, who is very low. Log Cabin Friday 25 Mar 1910 Vol. 15 No. 12 Pg. 12 Col. 1 Sunrise Mrs. B. F. Whiteker has been very ill and suffered much from incar¬ceration of the bowels. The family had Dr. G. L. Howard in consul¬tation with Dr. L. T. Ecklar, the regular physician. They decided the only show of relief was an operation. The specialist, Dr. Lansgdale, of Cincinnati, was sent for and a very successful operation was performed. The doctors present was Howard, of Antioch, Carr of Claysville, Meek of Falmouth and Ecklar and Beckett of Sunrise. Mrs. Whiteker stood the operation well. John Barlow and wife and W. W. Whiteker, of Ohio and Mr. Eureka Whiteker, of Georgetown are all home to see their mother. It is believed now that she will recover. She has a special nurse from Cincinnati.
