Log Cabin Friday 6 May 1910 Vol. 15 No. 18 Pg. 11 Col. 1 Sunrise Two of our popular young folks sprung a surprise on us Sunday by going to Mt. Olivet and getting married. The contracting partis, Mr. Howard Fitzwater and Miss Clara Beckett. Mr. Orie Price and Miss Pearl Holland, and Mr. Grover Beckett and Miss Verna Price accompanied them. They were married at Rev. W. A. Hostetter's. When they drove up it seemed that a wedding was anticipated and soon the house and yard were full to witness the ceremonies. The bride was attractively attited in a gray suit and the groom looked his best in black broadcloth. They returned to Mr. J. P. Arnold's where a nice supper was spread for them. On Monday, Mr. O. J. Price, step-father of the groom, had prepared an elaborate dinner for them. Rev. Hostetter and wife came over to the dinner and an abundance of good music was also had. Mr. Fitzwater has rented a house in Cynthiana where they wil make their future home. Their many friends wish them a happy and prosperous journey through life together. The Sunrise independent telephone company met for the purpose of having a switchboard at this place and making connection with the Cynthiana company. Mr. Wash, of Cynthiana, was present. A committee was appoined to select a switch board and report at once. The selection made cost the company $108. It was ordered.
