Committed suicide by hanging himself with a halter chain in his tobacco barn. b. 24 May 1834 age 76. Married three times m1. Miss Jackson m2. Miss Cravens and m3 Miss Stewart who survives. Father of four children include William Duckworth & Mrs. Hannah Cravens who survive. The other two were Mrs. Tom McLain and a younger daughter, Rena, who side some time ago. Burial in Beaver Cem. Log Cabin Friday 20 May 1910 Vol. 15 No. 19 Pg. 1 Col. 5 Suicide Last Night! John H. W. Spohn, d. last night of drinking carbolic acid. Age 59. Criswell, d. Wednesday in fire at his home in Kelat. He was smoking his pipe in a chair and apparently it was turned over and set the covers around him on fire. b. 7 Nov and would have been 85 on that date. Survived by six sons, Willis, James, David, John, RObert and George Criswell and two daughters, Mrs. Joe Martin and Mrs. Nannie Patrick. Fleming. d. last Saturday at her home in Georgetown of spinal meningitis. Survived by husband, son, Levi and four sisters and two brothers; Mrs. J. W. Boyd & Lucius Levi of Cynthiana; Mrs. Neal Fightmaster, Mrs. R. C. Smith, Mrs. Kate Lemon and Brack Levi of Connersville. Burial in Georgetown Cem. Henry Leonard, d. 11 May 1910 near Ruddles Mills. Buried at Ruddles Mills. Age 61 Douglas N. Wilson, son of Richard N. WIlson d. Wednesday in Lansing, MI of Grip. Buried at Battle Grove. Grandson of Mrs. Mary Wilson of Cynthiana. Mrs. Mary A. Brown, d. Wednesday in Cynthiana of abdominal tuberculosis. She was formerly Miss Brunker. m1. Mr. Arnett. m2. George Brown. Survived by one son, Sam Arnett. Buried in Battle Grove.
