Mr and Mrs Herbert HOLLOWAY of Cyclone were trading with T'ville merchants Sat. Mr and Mrs John CREWS, Mr and Mrs John HOLLOWAY, Persimmon, spent several hours in T'ville Sat. Mr and Mrs Ingram SYMPSON and daughter, Miss Joe Lena, were guests of Mr and Mrs Paul CARTER of Tville Sat. Mrs. Joe MILLER is spending sevseral days with friends in Smiths Grove and Glasgow and will go to MS in the near future to make her home. Mr and Mrs Walter STEPHENS of Vernon were visiting their aunt, Mrs Julia WHITE of T'ville Friday. Mr and Mrs Cecil PALMORE, Horse Cave, came over Sunday evening in company with his mother, Mrs. Gertrude PALMORE and visited Mr andMrs Porter HOWARD, Hestand. Mr. Scott RENEAU died at his home in Clay county TN near Boles, April 20. He was a native of Monroe county, but had lived in Clay Co for many years where he was prominent in county affairs. He was 81 years old. Burial was in the Moss Cemetery, conducted from the home by Elder J H ARMS of Celina. Prof. L L RUDOLPH who was principal of T'ville Graded and High School for the past 3 years, resigned and refused to accept the position for another term. He intends to enter school this year instead of teaching. The district board mde the following selection of teachers and principals: High School: M M MERIDITH, principal. Wallace PAGE who had been connected with the State Highway Dept for nearly 10 years and had charge of the maintenance of the state roads in Barrne, Metcalfe and Monroe Co was relieved of this job last week when The YATES was appointed in his place. YATES is a brother of Senator YATES. BRADSHAW & HAGAN CO buying a small amount of 1928 corn crop for seed.
