Separate Coach Law Can't Be Suspended

   Frankfort, Dec. 8 -- The Cumberland Railroad Company made application to
the State Railroad Commission for permission to disregard the separate coach
law, on the grounds that the company carried few Negro passengers.  W.A.
Jesse, secretary of commission, notified the company that the commission is
without authority to permit the company to disregard the separate coach law.
