H G NEAL of Knoxville TN, born and raised in Monroe Co. Died at his home in Knoxville last week; born near Flippin; cousin of the Hon. J M NEAL and brother of Mrs. Robert LONG. Died at his home at 814 Lutterell Ave; had been confined for about a year with consumption. Born 48 years ago in Glasgow, moved to Knox Co some 25 years ago. Attended school at Walnut Grove. Married 11 yrs ago to Miss Bell ROSS of Clinton; had two girls. Had moved to Hot Springs NC where he lived for 11 years; was the conducted on the ET, V&G Railroad from Hot Springs to Jellico. Moved to Knoxville in 1893. Daughters names were Marian and Nellie. Services at his residence, Rev J S JONES and E A Elmore officiating; burial GRAY Cemetery.
