Mr. and Mrs. Matt Payne and children have returned from harned where they were 
the guests of relatives for a few days.

Mr. Junious Foote has been confined to his home for several days with grip and 
unable to be at his post of duty as mail carrier on route No. 2.  his 
substitute, Mr. Everett Foote has been kept right busy.

Mr. A. O. Marshall, of Guston, spent Sunday in town.

Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Rhodes, of Brandenburg, and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Cunningham, 
of Chenault, Ky. were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Gordon for a few days last 
week.

Miss Lillian Stith has returned to her home in guston, after being the guest of 
Miss Claudia Bandy.

Miss Nellie Smith expects to leave Thursday for Cloverport to be the guest of 
Miss Reba Lewis for several days.

Mrs. Frank Waggoner and children are visitors of relatives and friends in 
Cloverport this week.

Miss Ruth Miller will entertain her social club on Friday afternoon.

There was an unusually large attendance at the Quarterly meeting of the 
methodist church Saturday and Sunday.
