He was born in Hardinsburg, KY on July 3, 1933, the son of the late Homer and Anna Rhea Jolly Adcox. He retired in 2002 from Genco Construction Company as a supervisor and continued working in building construction by remodeling homes. Wesley was a faithful member of Calvert Community Church, he enjoyed playing golf and loved his cat Callie. Family time was very important to Wesley, he looked forward each year to the four day re-unions as well as the holidays because he was always surrounded by his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by many family members: brothers: Russell, Denver and Homer, Jr. sister: Edna Vaughn Adcox stepson: George Montgomery, Jr. son-in-law: Ricky Robbins brother-in-law: Carl Bullard sisters-in-law: Mary Adcox and Delores Adcox Wesley is survived by his wife: June Adcox of Leitchfield, KY 3 daughters - Edie Robbins of Harned, KY Jackie Pile and her husband Jerry of SeRee, KY Lisa Jones and her husband Kelly of Columbia, SC stepdaughter - Libby Sutton and her husband David of Leitchfield, KY 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren 3 brothers - Kenny Adcox of Leitchfield, KY Donnie Adcox and his wife Joan of Harned, KY Neil Adcox and his wife Millie of South Carolina 2 sisters - Aggie Lou Nalley and her husband Jim of Galesburg, IL Betty Bullard of Mechanicsburg, OH many nieces, nephews and their families Funeral services will be held at Calvert Community Church on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 11 AM with Bro. Kenneth Smiley and Bro. Jerry Lane Decker officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday, 4-8 PM and Tuesday after 8:30 AM under the direction of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Calvert Cemetery.
