Deed Bk C, p 300, 301 RICE; JAMESON; ANDERSON; BUSH; HELM This Indenture made this sixth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seven Between James RICE & George RICE of Jefferson County and state of Kentucky and John JENISON and John P. ANDERSON of Nelson County and State aforesaid of the one part and William BUSH of the County of Hardin of the other part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the Sum of one hundred and eighty pounds lawful money of the United States to the said James RICE George RICE John JENISON and John J ANDERSON in hand paid by the said William BUSH before the signing sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge and themselves thereof fully satisfied have granted bargained and sold unto the said William BUSH his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land containing by Survey three thousand acres which was granted by Fisher RICE by patent bearing date the third day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and two and conveyed to the said James RICE George RICE John JENNISON and John P. ANDERSON by deed bearing date the 31st day of December 1806 Situate lying and bing in the said County of Hardin on Conoloway Creek a westwardly branch of Nolin and bounded as followeth To wit Beginning at a sugar tree and ash about forty poles east from a Small Clay lick near said creed Running thence north fifteen degrees west four hundred & fifty six poles to a sugar tree and ash near said creed and on the east side thereof thence north seventy five degrees East forty poles to a white oak and ash on the west side of a ridge thence north fifteen degrees west one hundred and fifty poles to a sugar tree and white oak near said creek and on the east dise thereof thence South seventy five degrees west eight hundred and twenty poles to a white Oak and Chesnut in level land thence south fifteen degrees east six hundred and six poles crossing a branch at on hundred poles another at two hundred and forty eight to two Barren oaks thence north Seventy five degrees east seven hundred and eighty poles to the Beginning To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging in any wise & hereunto appertaining to the only proper use and behoof of him the said William BUSH his heirs and assigns forever and the said James RICE George RICE John JENNISON and John P ANDERSON for themselves and their heirs do further covenant and agree to and with the said William BUSH his heirs and assigns, that they will and shall forever warrant and defend the aforesaid tract or parcel of land together with all and singular of the appurtenances hereditaments and advantages thereunto belonging from themselves and their heirs and from all other person or persons claim or Claims whatsoever claiming the same in any manner In Witness whereof the said James RICE George RICE John JANSON & John P.
