Armstrong wife of J. C. Armstrong (James Calvin), Dec’d amd Verttie Armstrong, wife of James C. (Cooper) Armstrong and Ida J. Recorded in Deed Book 45 page 465 Lodged Mar. 14, 1921 This indenture made and entered into this 7th day of March 1921 between heirs of J. C. Armstrong, deed, hereinafter named grantors and Henry Otis Armstrong, grantee, witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar and other valuable considerations cash in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the said grantors, viz; Lucy R. Armstrong (widow of said decedent) Geo. A. Armstrong, John I. Armstrong, Ida J. Armstrong (single) James C. Armstrong, H. Jane Russell, N. Maude Cooper and William H. Armstrong, do hereby sell, grant and convey unto the said Henry Otis Armstrong the following described tract or parcel of land which is to be laid off on the land of the decedent aforesaid, which land herein conveyed is described as being the east half of the east half of the southeast quarter of Sec. 21 township 2 range 3 east lying in Calloway County, Kentucky, and bounded as follows, viz; Beginning at the northeast corner of the southeast quarter of said section 21, thence west with quarter section line 40 poles more or less, thence south parallel with section line 160 poles or to the south line of said quarter, thence east with quarter line 40 poles more or less, to the southeast corner of said quarter, thence north with east line of said quarter section to the point of beginning, containing 40 acres more or less. The said decedent J. C. Armstrong obtained his title to said land by deed from H. S. Rogers, recorded in deed book 30 page 385 of the office of clerk of the Calloway County court. To have and to hold to the said grantee his heirs and assigns forever with general warranty. Francis Armstrong, wife of Geo. A. Armstrong, May Armstrong, wife of John I. Armstrong, Virtie Armstrong wife of James C. Armstrong, Frank P. Russell husband of H. Jane Russell, Will Cooper husband of N. Maude Cooper, and Mattie Armstrong wife of William H. Armstrong, all join herein and relinquish their respective rights to dower and homestead and curtesy in the land here conveyed. All the said grantors being all of the heirs (together with the grantee) of the said J. C. Armstrong deed. Witness the signatures of all of said grantors this day and date above written. H.
