Robert Asbridge of Crittenden County, died Sunday, April 29, 1973 at his farm. He was born August 9, 1914 in Crittenden County to John and Nettie Ella Givens 
Asbridge.  
Robert was a former Marion City Police Officer, as well as, a former Crittenden 
County Deputy Sheriff and a Member of the Bigham Lodge No. 256. Surviving him are his wife, Carrie Asbridge; a son, Cary T. Jones; sisters, 
Beulah Gass of Marion and Gladys Chandler of Sturgis; brothers Ray Asbridge of 
Salina, Kansas and Dennis Asbridge of Sturgis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Virgil, Eugene, and Herman. Funeral services will take place May 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hunt Funeral Chapel 
and burial will follow in the Mapleview Cemetery.
