ATER, age 64, of Route #2, Leitchfield, Ky in Grayson County, died on Friday, September 28, 1984, at his residence. He was born on August 4, 1920 in Breckinridge County, a son of the late Carlton and Bessie COMPTON ATER. Mr. ATER was a farmer. He is survived by: his wife, Mrs. Jewell ATER two sisters: Mrs. Eleanor McKICHNIE of Jeffersonville, Indiana (Clark County) Mrs. Naomi PAUL of Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County) one brother: Louis ATER of Underwood, Indiana (Clark County) Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 1, 1984, at the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, with the Reverend William Donoho, Pastor of the St. Anthony Catholic Church, Axtel, officiating. Burial was in the Old St. Anthony Cemetery.
