Undated Glasgow KY newspaper
"Miss Pearl Bacon, well known Barren county woman, died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Lucy Bacon in the Poplar Grove section Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. She had been in ill health several months.

"She was born and reared in the Poplar Grove-Temple Hill community where she spent all her life. She was a devout member of the Baptist Church and was a fine christian lady, held in high esteem by friends and acquaintances throughout the county.

"Besides her mother, Mrs. Lucy Bacon, she is survived by a brother, Mr. Robert Bacon, of Peoria, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Ed Starr, Glasgow, R. 6, Mrs. Claude McIntire, Detroit, Mich. and Mrs. Virgil Rigsby, of Illinois.

"Funeral services will be held at Union No. 2 today at 1 a.m. Rev. T. S. Ferguson will be in charge. Burial will follow in the church cemetery."
