Lawrence L. BAGBY, 78, died at his home here Sunday, May 13, after a long
illness. The son of Daniel and Alice Howard Bagby he was born September 26,
1877. He was a automobile dealer until his retirement several years ago. He
was also chief of police here at one time. Prior to coming to Greensburg ,he
served as Post Master at Exie and had taught school in the county. Surviving
are his wife, Mrs. Alice Wade Keltner Bagby and an Aunt Mrs. W. G. Pickett
of Greensburg. Funeral services were held at the home May 16, with burial in
the Greensburg Cemetery. Rev. E. S. Denton conducted the service. He was
given an Masonic Funeral
