He was born in Blanche, KY on August 16, 1943 the son of the late Pete and Ada Mills Bailey. He believed in the Baptist Faith and had been a Surface Mine Foreman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Creasie Mills, father-in-law, Creed Robinette and brothers-in-law, Floyd Warren and Taylor Mills. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Nina Robinette Bailey, sons and their wives, Steve and Euna Bailey and Terry and Marian Bailey; grandchildren, Chase, Brittney and Tyler Bailey, brothers and sisters, Dora Warren, Louise and Russell Reed, John and Elise Bailey, Walter and Bertie Bailey, Elbert and Janice Bailey, Ray and Virgie Bailey and Bill and Tamara Bailey, mother-in- law, Gladys Robinette, brother-in-law, Gene and Betty Robinette, and special aunt and uncle, Tommie and Donald Bowman and a host of nieces and nephews. Services were Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Dr. Dan Crum and Rev. B.F. Jackson. Music was by Ginny Fraley. Burial was in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro. Pallbearers were Ernie Gambrel, Donald Mills, Danny Bailey, E.J. Gray, Scott Warren and David Warren. Honorary pallbearers were Eugene Gsmbrel, Dr. Hays, Dr. Morgan, Harvey Goodin and Carl Turner. Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was honored to serve the Bailey Family.
